Das Projekt beleuchtet die persönliche und emotionale Seite des Klima-Aktivismus. Die Menschen in den orangefarbenen Westen der Bewegung „Letzte Generation“ werden in dieser Arbeit in den Fokus gerückt. 

Das Leben, die Motivation und Herausforderungen der Aktivist*innen werden mit Hilfe intimer Porträts und dokumentarischen Fotografien eingefangen. 

Ziel der Arbeit ist es, nicht nur die Protestaktionen zu dokumentieren, sondern auch die  inneren Kämpfe, Überzeugungen und die Widerstandskraft der Aktivist*innen sichtbar zu machen, die für diesen intensiven Aktivismus nötig sind. Fragen wie „Wer sind diese Menschen?“, „Was treibt sie an?“ und „Wie verändert ihr Engagement ihr Leben?“ eröffnen eine menschliche Perspektive auf den Aktivismus. Empathie und Verständnis zu fördern sowie den gesellschaftlichen Dialog anzuregen und Vorurteile abzubauen, stehen im Fokus.

The project explores the personal and emotional side of climate activism by focusing on the people in the orange vests of the “Last Generation” movement.

Intimate portraits and documentary photographs capture the lives, motivations and challenges of the activists. 

The aim is not only to document the protests, but also to reveal their inner struggles, convictions and the resilience required for this intense activism. Questions like “Who are these people?”, “What drives them?” and “How does their commitment change their lives?” offer a human perspective on activism. To promote empathy, stimulate social dialogue and break down prejudices.
